YES, that is right! Yesterday was the students last day and today is ours! I will be packing up my stuff and heading out shortly!! I'm so excited! Last year at this time I was getting fatter and fatter by the minutes and swelling like crazy! This year I now have a beautiful daughter to spend my summer with and I can't wait! We have already started swimming at MeMaw's and I'm ready to be out there early in the morning until late at night! I'm also ready to sleep as late as Janie Ann will let me and just have fun doing NOTHING!
Tonight we are going to Reese's graduation (he was 8 when Seth and I started dating- hard to belief he is graduating now!) Hopefully I will update with pictures soon...if I don't forget about the computer world this summer! :)

Technology is amazing!
As many people already know, my mom is traveling back out to California for 13 weeks. This has been super hard on me- I'm not sure how hard it was for her, but she has been with us at least once a week since Janie Ann has been born- she stayed with me the entire week before she was born and I believe she spent the night with us for an entire month after Janie Ann arrived! My mom has been here to answer all my questions and help me and Seth with whatever we need. Janie Ann has been able to stay with her Gigi while we are at work (along with her MeMaw, too!). Yes, school is almost out and yes, Janie Ann will be able to stay with us for the entire summer- that is why my mom decided to go now, but it is still so hard to know that she is traveling cross-country, alone. She is a very independent woman- I'm scared of my own shadow and I have NEVER stayed over-night by myself- I definitely didn't get the "independent" woman gene from her!! It just makes me sad thinking about all the things that Janie Ann is going to be able to do when she returns...but that is where my blog title comes in! With technology, she will be able to watch videos uploaded to the blog of her talking, crawling, standing...whatever she decides she is going to do while Gigi is gone. Like tonight- we were able to use Skype to talk to her and see her (she was looking ROUGH :)!!) She got a new phone before going out- I can send her small video clips on her phone and pictures, daily if I want! With technology the only thing she is going to actually miss is the hugs and kisses!! While we are planning on going out to visit (anyone that would like to donate to our "Fly to CA" fund- please write a check to Seth or Tiffany Clark!) if we aren't able to make it out there, she really won't be missing much!!
Below is a picture of Janie Ann and Gigi the morning that Gigi was leaving. Whenever i see this picture I want to cry because Janie Ann is going to change SO much before she returns and it breaks my heart that she isn't going to be here with us- but she is adventurous and I will give up 13 weeks during the summer for her to be able to keep Janie Ann while we are at work!
So Gigi- be careful, we love you BUNCHES and we can't wait to talk to you again on Skype! Enjoy your trip and hopefully we can make it out to visit- if not, we can't wait until the beginning of September when you return!!! Love- Seth, Tiffany and Janie Ann.

6 months, already?!?
These are just a few of Janie Ann's 6 month pictures! They are wonderful!! She was extremely tired by time we got to the field of yellow flowers, but she still did wonderful! It is so hard for me to believe that she is 6 months old!!! Time really flies when you are having fun!! Summer time is getting closer and closer and I can't wait until I get to spend all day with her!! Right now we pray that she is teething...she has fun a low-grade fever for the past 2 days, mostly at night. When she tries to go to sleep she screams like she is hurting and we haven't been able to just swaddle her and she put herself to sleep- she has had to lay in the bed with us until she falls good and asleep before we move her. It is pitiful- I would let her sleep with us all night, but I don't want to start something!! Mom is taking her to the doctor today for the fever, so maybe they can do her 6 month shots, too, if not- we will at least know how much she weighs!!

Sitting all by herself- she still needs a little help, but she is getting better each day at sitting independently! She is getting too big, too fast!

We are supposed to go to the beach this weekend- hopefully we can still make it!!

Happy Mother's Day!
What did I get for my first mother's day? Well, Seth bought me a pearl and diamond necklace before Janie Ann was born (when he bought my push present), and he kept it a secret as long as he could....I got it for Christmas! But it was supposed to be my Mother's Day gift. So, I told him not to get me anything...but Janie Ann and him went last week to the Pickett Fence in Opelika and got me the cutest beach bag and cooler. The beach bag is HUGE and I LOVE it! I can't wait to use it next weekend when I go on a girl's trip (Yes, Janie Ann is going!) to the beach with Karin and Jodie...and possibly Marie.
Happy Mother's Day everyone- make sure to give your mom a hug and kiss her every chance you get! Thank you to my mom and my second mom for everything that you do for me and my family. I love you, mom and my second mom, Mrs. Vickie!

Happy Mother's Day!
Ok, this is my first Mother's Day where I am actually a mother- very surreal to me! I feel so blessed to have a beautiful 6 month old angel to call my own. I feel very blessed that the Lord has allowed Seth and I to raise this baby and I often times just sit and stare at her in amazement. Of course, that often leads to crying because of how amazing she and He truly are. I don't have any pictures to upload, I'm at work waiting on Seth to get done with detention duty- and thought it would be a perfect time to update!
This morning I received an email from a friend titled: Newborns conversations with God.
This morning I received an email from a friend titled: Newborns conversations with God.
A baby asked God, 'They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?'
God said, 'Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you'
The child further inquired, 'But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy.'
God said, 'Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy.'
Again the child asked, 'And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don' t know the language?'
God said, 'Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak.'
'And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?'
God said, 'Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray.
''Who will protect me?'
God said, 'Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life.'
'But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.'
God said, 'Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you.'
At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, 'God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name.'
God said, 'You will simply call her, ' Mom .
Of course I immediately wanted to cry- God has blessed me and now it is my job to raise this child to Love God and trust Him with everything. I pray every night with Janie Ann before I lay her down and my main prayer is that I raise her the way the Lord wants me to. I just pray that I don't fail at my job.
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
